Minimum Requirements for Teaching Positions
We are committed to attracting high-quality educators who are passionate about international education. To be considered, candidates should meet the following criteria:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or the relevant subject
- Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed. or equivalent)
- Master’s Degree in Education or related field (preferred)
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- Experience in an American or International curriculum (preferred)
- International school experience is an advantage
Teaching & Learning
- Strong knowledge of curriculum planning, assessment, and differentiation
- Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments
Safeguarding
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
- Safeguarding/Child Protection certification (preferred)
Language Skills
- Fluent English (spoken and written) (IELTS minimum 6.0 – preferred)
- Knowledge of Russian and/or Kazakh is an advantage
Technology
- Confident in using educational technology and digital learning platforms
Personal Attributes
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork
- Culturally aware, adaptable, and student-focused
- Committed to continuous professional development
Additional Requirements (where applicable)
- Leadership experience (for senior roles)
- SEN / Inclusion experience
- Experience working with multilingual learners
